Con fecha 9 de junio de 2022, Scopus ha publicado los datos del CiteScore 2021.
Siguiendo la metodología que introdujeron en el CiteScore del año anterior, cuenta las citas recibidas entre los años 2018-2021 a artículos, revisiones, participaciones en congresos, capítulos de libros y datos de investigación publicados en esos mismos años, divididas por la cantidad de publicaciones publicadas entre 2018-2021.
CiteScore está disponible para todos los títulos de publicaciones periódicas, no solo para revistas. Se incluyen más de 26.000 títulos.
Desde Scopus señalan que hay más de 15.000 títulos que tienen un CiteScore 2021, de los cuales 708 están muy bien clasificados (en el 10 % superior) en su área temática, pero no tienen factor de impacto.
Recordamos que en el cálculo del CiteScore se excluye los llamados Artículos en Prensa, que, aunque estén incluidos en Scopus, se procesan de manera diferente que los artículos regulares. Estos artículos no tienen disponible la lista de referencias y, por lo tanto, no aportan citas a otros documentos.
Las revistas científicas de la UPV publicadas en la plataforma PoliPapers mantienen la misma presencia que en la edición anterior. Se observa una estabilidad de estas revistas, destacando que 8 de ellas mejoran su dato.
